Johann Laubach, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughters (Katharina, age 12; Anna [Maria], age 9; Elisabeth, age 6; Anna, age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Schilling and are recorded there on the 1775 census in Household No. 63.
In 1796, Johannes Laubach and his family moved from Schilling to Norka.
Anna Maria Müller née Laubach and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Norka in Household No. Nr112.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Laubach came from the German region of Isenburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Laubach family among the Volga German colonies.
