Anton Lelender, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Rohleder on 14 June 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19.
The 1767 census records that Anton Lelender came from Prague and that his wife Katharina was from the German region of Würzburg.
