Otto Albertus Liege, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Reinhard on 15 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17.

The 1767 census records that Otto Albertus Liege came from the German village of Rathenow in the Brandenburg region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
