Biehn (Leichtling-1)
Johannes Biehn, a farmer, and his wife Katharina Säger settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 48 [erroneously with surname of Böhm].
They and their family are recorded on the 1798 census of Leichtling in Household No. Lg45.
Johannes Biehn and son Valentin are recorded on the 1834 census of Leichtling in Household No. 32 along with a note that Johannes had died in 1825.
The widow and children of another son (Johannes Biehn) are recorded on the 1834 census of Leichtling in Household No. 92 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Mariental in 1825.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Biehn came from the German village of Hammelburg.
