Peter Wenzel, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the galliot Anna Katharina under the command of Skipper Johann Joachim Janson.
Peter Wentzel and his [new] wife Margaretha are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Peter Wenzel, a farmer, and his wife Margaretha are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 16.
The 1798 census of Näb records Georg Peter Wenzel in Household No. Nb17.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Peter Wenzel came from the German region of Hessen. The 1767 census records that Peter Wenzel came from the German village of Berstadt in the Hessen region.
