Johann Wilhelm Roth, his wife Katharina, and their sons (Johann Heinrich, age 4½; Konrad, age 2½) are recorded on the 1775 census in the Volga German colony of Schilling in Household No. 56.

Widower Wilhelm Roth and his family (sons: Johann Heinrich, age 28; Johannes, age 19) are recorded on the 1798 census of Schilling in Household No. Sg057 along with a note that son Johannes is working in the colony of Beideck.

Johann[es] Roth from Schilling and his sons (Heinrich Jakob, age 8; Johann Heinrich, age 3) are recorded on the 1811 census of Warenburg in Household No. 31 along with a note that he had arrived from Schilling in Warenburg in 1800.
