Johann Georg Dieter, his wife, and his unnamed daughter (age 2¼) immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) arriving in Fridericia on 1 May 1760. They are last recorded in the Danish colonies on 26 April 1763.
They joined the migration to Russia. Georg, his wife Eva Maria, and children (Anna Maria, age 14; Sophia, age 9; Johann Georg, age 7) are recorded on the 1775 census of Schilling in Household No. 22.
Daughter Sophia is recorded on the 1798 census of Hussenbach in Household No. Hs105.
The Eichhorns record that according to a 1759 list by Moritz, Johann Georg Dieter came from the German village of "Weinheim, Amt eidelberg, Kurpfalz."
There are no known surviving male lines of this Dieter family among the Volga German colonies.
