Joachim Mihm, a farmer, his wife Maria, children (Anna Margaretha, age 10; Konrad, age 8; Anna Maria, age 6; Maria Elisabeth, age 3), and his mother Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 August 1766 aboard the galliot named St. Johannes (Saint John) under the command of Skipper Carstens Stahl.
Joachim Mihm, his wife Maria Magdalena, children (Anna Maria, age 10; Anna Margaretha, age 8; Conradt, age 6; Mari Elisabeth, age 2), and his mother Anna are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that daughter Anna Maria and his mother Anna both died in route.
Joachim Mihm, his wife Maria Magdalena, and children (Anna Margaretha, age 11; Konrad, age 9) are recorded on the 1767 census of Semenovka along with a note that Joachim is serving as the colony's mayor (Vorsteher). They had settled in Semenovka on 24 July 1767.
Widow Magdalena Mihm along with her daughter's family are recorded on the 1798 census of Semenovka in Household No. Se18.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Joachim Mihm came from the German region of Fulda. The 1767 census records that Joachim Mihm came from the German village of Althausen in the Fulda region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
