Joachim Mihm, a farmer, his wife Maria, children (Anna Margaretha, age 10; Konrad, age 8; Anna Maria, age 6; Maria Elisabeth, age 3), and his mother Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the galliot Johannes under the command of Skipper Stahl.
Joachim Mihm, his wife Maria Magdalena, children (Anna Maria, age 10; Anna Margaretha, age 8; Conradt, age 6; Mari Elisabeth, age 2), and his mother Anna are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that daughter Anna Maria and his mother Anna both died en route.
Joachim Mihm, his wife Maria Magdalena, and children (Anna Margaretha, age 11; Konrad, age 9) are recorded on the 1767 census of Semenovka along with a note that Joachim is serving as the colony's mayor (Vorsteher). They had settled in Semenovka on 24 July 1767.
The 1767 census records that Joachim Mihm came from the German village of Althausen in the Fulda region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
