Johann Wilhelm Stollmann, a craftsman (Handwerker), settled in the Volga German colony of Graf on 10 June 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 32 along with his new wife Anna Margaretha, the widow of Peter Kohlmeier.
The 1767 census records that Johann Wilhelm Stollmann came from the German town of Kiel in Holstein and that Anna Margaretha came from the German village of Langenfeld.
