Kaspar Tack, a soldier (Soldat), and his family arrived in the Volga German colony of Graf on 10 June 1766. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 27 along with his wife Anna Katharina and children (Maria Theresa, age 16; Paul, age 13).
Maria Theresa Mattern née Dack and her husband are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka042.
Paul Dack and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Graf in Household No. Gf14.
The 1767 census records that Kaspar Tack came from the German village of Lauffen in Württemberg.
