Martin Wolf, a farmer, and his wife Anna Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Graf on 10 June 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 16.

The 1767 census records that Martin Wolf came from the German village of Zindenfels in the Kurpfalz region.
