Michael Glass, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Graf on 14 February 1767. The are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 42.

In 1788, Michael Glass moved from Graf to Saratov.

The 1798 Census of Brabander records Michael Glass from Graf in Household No. Bn69.

The 1767 census records that Michael Glass came from the German region of Speyer.
