Discussion & Documentation

Christina Klepphorn, widow of an unnamed craftsman (Handwerker), settled in the Volga German colony of Graf on 20 August 1767. She is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 48.

The 1767 census records that Christina Klepphorn came from the German village of Nordhausen.

There do not appear to be any surviving male descendants of this family among the Volga German colonies.
