Michael Lutze [sic] & Elisabeth Kesisch were married on 22 May 1766 in Roßlau.
Michael Lutz, his wife Elisabeth, and son Johann (age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Lieutenant Gawril Roduzki.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Frank where Michael is recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 76 along with new wife Susanna and infant son Georg Franz (age ½).
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Michael Lutz came from the German region of Nürnberg.
