The death of Johann Baumgardt in 1798 is recorded on the 1811 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. 20.

Johannes Baumgardt, son of Johann Baumgardt, is recorded on the 1811 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. 20 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Nieder-Monjou [year not recorded].

Johann[es] Baumgardt from Stahl am Karaman and his grandson (Georg Friedrich Baumgardt, age ½) are recorded on the 1811 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 39 along with a note that he arrived in Nieder-Monjou from Stahl am Karaman in Household No. 1808.

The 1767 census records that Johann Baumgardt came from the German village of Lipaschile [?] in the Prussian region.
