Hermann Eifländer, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.
Hermann Eysslander and his wife Catharina are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 in Household No. 17.
In 1769, Hermann Eifländer and his family moved from Ernestinendorf to Biberstein.
The 1767 census records that Hermann Eifländer came from the German village of Schwarz in the Darmstadt region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
