Erik Brunquist, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Mann und Frau under the command of Skipper Daniel Berg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Jost on 19 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 48.
The 1767 census records that Erik Brunquist came from the Swedish town of Stockholm.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
