Keil (Schwab)
[Johann] Dietrich Keil, a farmer, his wife Anna, and sons (Johann [Georg], age 19; Eckhardt, age 16; [Johann] Nikolaus, age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Concordia under the command of Skipper Jakob Bauert.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Schwab on 8 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 24.
Son Johann Georg Keil from Schwab is recorded on the 1798 census of Galka in Household No. Gk03.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Dietrich Keil came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that he came from the German region of Hamburg.
