David Krieger & Marai Elisabeth Rückemeister were married on 10 April 1766 in Roßlau.
David Krüger [sic], a farmer, and his wife Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard the ship Mann und Frau under the command of Skipper Daniel Berg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Jost on 5 July 1767. David is recorded there on the 1767 census along with his new wife Christina Elisabeth and their newborn son Johann Adam (4-weeks old).
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that David Krüger [sic] came from the German region of Gardelegen. The 1767 census records that David Krieger [sic] came from the German village of Jarmen in the Brandenburg region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Krieger family among the Volga German colonies.
