Bernhard Göhringer, a farmer, his wife Veronica, and children (Johann, age 13; Philipp, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 August 1766 aboard a galliot named Die Wachsamkeit under the command of Skipper Jacob Heinrich Sager.
Bernhard Goeringer, his wife Veronica, and children (Johannes, age 13; Margretha, age 4; and newborn Anna) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that father Bernhard died en route.
Widow Veronica remarried to Michael Schatz.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Lauwe on 5 September 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 21 [where the surname is mis-translated as Körner].
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Bernhard Göhringer came from the German district of Bamberg.
