Johann Georg Fischer from Reibach in the Kurpfalz & Hesse-Darmstadt & Anna Barbara Daubert, daughter of Georg Daubert the stocking weaver (Strumpfweber) from Büdingen, were married on 22 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.
[Johann] Georg Fischer, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard a koff named Alette under the command of Skipper Wybe Hendricks. Although they had been married in Büdingen before departure for Russia, his wife Anna Barbara Daubert arrived in Oranienbaum on a different ship along with her parents.
Johann Georg Fischer, a farmer, and his wife Anna Barbara are recorded on the 1767 census of Schwab in Household No. 40. They had settled there on 12 September 1767.
Johann Georg Fischer, his wife Anna Barbara Daubert, and their children are recorded on the 1798 census of Schwab in Household No. Sb41. Johann Michael Fischer in Household No. Sb13 is presumed to be the son of Johann Georg Fischer.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Fischer came from the German region of Darmstadt while the 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Raibach.
