Johann Diedrich Jung from Rabenau married on 24 April 1766 in Büdingen to Eva Elisabetha Schönmeyer, daughter of Philipp Schönmeyer & Brigitte Henning. She had been baptized 28 October 1734 in Burgsinn.
Dietrich Jung and his wife Elisabeth [Schönmeyer] arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov along with her father and siblings.
The Jung family settled in the Volga German colony of Fischer on 28 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 36.
Dietrich Jung from Fischer is recorded on the 1798 census in the colony of Krasnoyar in Household No. Ks111.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Dietrich Jung was a stonemason while the 1767 census records that he was a farmer.
The 1767 census records that Dietrich Jung came from the German village of Kisi [?] in the Darmstadt region and that his wife Eva Elisabeth Schöneyer came from the German village of Rabenau.
