Johann Christoph Bahlhausen, a single craftsman (Handwerker), is recorded on the 1767 census of Reinhard in Household No. 26. He had arrived there on 25 May 1767.
The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Radaschhausen in the Schwarzburg region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
