Trautmann*
Kaspar Trautmann, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Heinrich Sager.
Caspar Trautmann is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Rohleder on 28 August 1767. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 46 along with his new wife Sophia Louise.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Kaspar Trautmann was a farmer from Württemberg while the 1767 census records that he was a priest (Priester) from the German village of Mergentheim near Donauwörth.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
