Anschutz, Wendall

Wendall "Wendy" Anschutz, son of Leal Anschutz & Theresa Lilak, was born 21 January 1938 in Russell, Kansas. Anschutz spent 35 years (1966-2001) as a reporter with on local TV, most of it as an anchor at KCTV5 in Kansas City. During his time in broadcasting, Anschutz won numerous local, regional, and national awards. He died 7 January 2010.

His Volga German ancestors come from the colony of Nieder-Monjou.
