Discussion & Documentation

Friedrich Marquardt, a craftsman (Handwerker), married Maria Elisabeth, widow of Jakob Hessenbeie. They are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 34 along with stepson Jakob Hessenbeie (age 7).

The Marquardts are recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household #112.

The 1767 census does not record from where Friedrich Marquardt came.

There are no known male descendants of this Marquardt family that continue among the Volga German colonies.
