Discussion & Documentation

Johann Heinrich Knorr, a farmer, his wife Julianna, and daughters (Eva Katharina, age 14; Barbara, age 13; Elisabeth, age 7; Anna Elisabeth, age 6) are recorded on the 1767 census of Schwab in Household No. 28. They had settled there on 12 September 1767.

The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Knorr came from the German village of Teschow.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Knorr family among the Volga German colonies.
