Friedrich Peter, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), his wife Magdalena, and daughter Margaretha (age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Schwab in Household No. 14. They had settled there on 8 July 1767.
The 1767 census records that Friedrich Peter came from the German village of Rodenbach.
