Friedrich Enike, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife Anna Elisabeth settled in the Volga German village of Urbach on 13 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 8.

The 1767 census records that Friedrich Enike came from the German village of Barby in the Sachsen region and that his wife came from the German village of Busecker Tal in the Darmstadt region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
