Faust (Urbach)*
Johann Georg Faust & Anna Catharina Kalb were married on 22 March 1766 at the Lutheran Church in Büdingen.
Johann Faust, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Kronstadt under the command of Lieutenant Samuel Gibbs.
His wife Anna Maria is recorded on the 1767 census of Urbach in Household No. 10 along with a note that her husband had died on the way from St. Petersburg to Saratov. Anna Maria remarried to Friedrich Hanisch.
The 1767 census records that Anna Maria came from the German village of Ulm.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Faust family among the Volga German colonies.
