Johann Georg Dick and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 August 1766 aboard a galliot named Eva Maria under the command of Skipper Franz Christopher Schröder.
Idt & Rauschenbach record that this is the same family that is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard.
Johannes Dick, a tailor (Schneider), and his wife Barbara are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 9 along with a note that they resettled in the Volga German colony of Biberstein in 1768.
Anna Barbara Dick, widow of Johann[es] Dick, and their children are recorded on the 1798 census of Biberstein in Household No. Bb41.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Dick came from the German village of Weener.
