Gottfried Dexter [sic] arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 21 September 1766.
Gottfried Textor [sic] are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Widower Johann Gottfried Texter, a miller (Müller), is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 77 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Biberstein in 1768.
In 1771, Christian Texter and his wife moved from Boisroux to Biberstein.
In 1777, Gottfried Texter and his family left Biberstein.
The 1767 census records that Johann Gottfried Texter came from the village of Niel.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
