Orphan Johann Eshouf (age 10) is recorded on the 1767 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. 60 along with the Johannes Hassel family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Eshouf and Hassel families.
The 1767 census does not record from where Johann Eshouf came.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Eschouf family among the Volga German colonies.
