Christoph Manger [sic] is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Christoph Mager and his new wife Magdalena are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits appended to the 1767 census in Household No. 63 along with a note that they settled in the Volga German colony of Luzern in 1768.

Christoph Mager and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Luzern in Household No. Lz19.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christoph Mager came from the German region of Isenburg. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Neustadt in the Isenburg region.
