Luzern
Luzern was founded on 20 June 1767 by colonists who had been recruited by Baron Caneau de Beauregard.
The 1767 census does not include a list of the original colonists in Luzern as they were residing in other colonies at that time.
Today, what remains of the former colony of Luzern is known as Mikhaylovka.
The colonists that originally settled in Luzern were of the Roman Catholic faith.
