Johann Philipp Werner & Maria Elisabeth Ruckemesser were married in Vilbel on 27 November 1759.
Johann [Philipp] Werner, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, children (Katharina [Elisabeth], age 7; Anna, age 5; Johann[es], age ½), and his sister Katharina (age 18) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Joh. Philip Werner, his wife Elisabetha, and children (Anna Catharina [should be his sister], age 18; Catharina, age 7; Anna Maria, age 5¼; Johannes, age ½) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Anna Maria died en route.
Philipp Werner, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Elisabeth, age 8; Johannes, age 2) are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits appended to the 1767 census in Household No. 95.
Philipp Werner and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Luzern in Household No. Lz02.
The death of Philipp Werner at the age of 81 is recorded on 13 June 1803 in the parish register of Luzern.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann [Philipp] Werner came from the German region of Frankfurt am Main. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Niederursel in the Frankfurt am Main region.
