Jean Christian Brecht was settled in the Volga German colony of Yagodnaya Polyana in the household of Adam Hallstein [sic].
He is recorded on the 1834 census of Yagodnaya Polyana in Household No. 154.
He is not recorded on the 1857 census of Yagodnaya Polyana, so must have died before 1850.
Milovidov records that Johann Christian Brecht came from the town of Brucella [sic] in the Brabant region [of The Netherlands].
