Martin Böhm, a single weaver, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Martin Böhm is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Martin Böhm, a farmer, and his wife Katharina are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 88 along with a note that they settled in the colony of Biberstein in 1768.

Martin Böhm and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Biberstein in Household No. Bb13.

Philipp Jakob Böhm from Biberstein and his wife are recorded on the 1857 census of Rosendamm in Household No. 19, having moved there in 1850.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Martin Böhm came from the German region of Nassau. The 1767 census records that he came from the German region of Nassau-Usingen.
