Discussion & Documentation

[There appear to be two Michael Müllers from Paulskaya.]

The widow and sons (Johann Sebastian, age 20; Karl Lorenz, age 13) of Michael Müller are recorded on the 1798 census of Paulskaya in Household No. Pl20 along with a note that Johann Sebastian is working in Orlovskaya and Karl Lorenz is working in Katharinenstadt.

The death of Lorenz Müller in 1826 is recorded on the 1834 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 130.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Müller family among the Volga German colonies.
