There are two Burghardt families mentioned in relation to the colony of Graf. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research [and they may actually be the same family].

(1) In 1788, Johann Burghardt and his family moved from Schönchen to Graf.

(2) Johannes Burghardt from Paulskaya and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Graf in Household No. Gf04.

Neither of these families are recorded on the 1834 census of Graf.
