Friedrich Gottfried Kahn, a barber (Friseur), his wife Margaretha, and daughter Dorothea (age 9) are recorded on the 1767 census of Orlovskaya in Household No. 40 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Zürich in 1768.
In 1774, Friedrich Kahn and his family moved from Orlovskaya to Zürich.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Kahn family among the Volga German colonies.
