Discussion & Documentation

Orphan Johann Döringer [sic] (age 20) is recorded on the 1767 census of Orlovskaya in Household No. 2 along with the Johann Friedrich Reisch family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Döringer and Reisch families.

In 1774, Andreas Döringer [sic] moved from Orlovskaya to Bettinger.

In 1788, Johann Heinrich Döringer [sic] moved from Meinhard to Bettinger.

Andreas Deringer [sic] from Orlovskaya and Heinrich Deringer [sic] from Meinhard are recorded on the 1798 census of Bettinger in Households No. Bt21 and Bt22, respectively.

The 1767 census does not record from where Johann Deringer [sic] came.

[These families are recorded on the 1834 and subsequent censuses of Bettinger as Döring.]
