Konrad Fritz [sic], a joiner, his wife Elisabeth, and daughter Anna (age 2¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a ship named Die Zwei Gebrüder (The Two Brothers) under the command of Skipper Nicolaus Peter Pinck.
Joh. Conrad Fritz [sic] and his wife Elisabeth are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg from Saratov in 1767.
Widow Anna Elisabeth Fritzmann (age 24) and daughter Katharina (age 5-months) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 8.
In which colony they settled is unknown.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Fritz [sic] came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that Anna Elisabeth Fritzmann came from the German village of Frischburg.
There are no known male lines of this Fritzmann family among the Volga German colonies.
