Anna Katharina Ritz, a single woman, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 August 1766 aboard the galliot named Die Perle (The Pearl) under the command of Skipper Gerhardt Hermann Thomsen.
Anna Katharina Ritz is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with Kaspar Schwab.
Kaspar Schwab, a farmer, and his wife Katharina [Ritz] are recorded on the 1767 census of Semenovka in Household No. 30. They had arrived in Semenovka on 24 July 1767.
Kaspar Schwab, his wife Katharina Ritz, and their family are recorded on the 1798 census of Semenovka in Household No. Se07.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Anna Katharina Ritz came from the German region of Fulda.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Ritz family among the Volga German colonies.
