Biography
Anthony Joseph Falkenstein, son of Henry Georg Falkenstein & Anna Margaretha Quint, was born 16 February 1915 in Pueblo, Colorado. He died 9 October 1994 in Ceres, California.
Tony Falkenstein was a fullback and quarterback in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the twelfth round of the 1938 NFL Draft and played with the team during the 1943 NFL season. During the 1944 NFL season, he played for the Brooklyn Tigers and the Boston Yanks.
Falkenstein's Volga German ancestors came from the colony of Schuck.
