There are two Römer families that arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a ship named Die Zwei Gebrüder (The Two Brothers) under the command of Skipper Nicolaus Peter Pinck. They traveled together from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.
(1) Johann Römer, a farmer, and his wife Barbara arrived in Oranienbaum.
Johannes Römer and his wife Barbara are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
It is not known in which colony this Römer family settled.
(2) Adam Römer, a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived in Oranienbaum.
Adam Römer and his wife Katharina are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that he died in route.
It is not known in which colony Widow Katharina Römer settled.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that both Johann Römer and Adam Römer came from the German region of Mainz.
