Biography:
Julius Theodor Fastena, son of Julius Heinrich Fastena & Emma Brenner, was born 8 June 1865 in Riga.
He studied theology at the University of Dorpat and was ordained 13 December 1892 in Mitau.
Pastor Fastena married on 23 August 1894 to Elisabeth Amalie Carlson.
He served the following parishes: Astrakhan (1894-1910); Tambov & Ryazan (1910); Voronezh (1910-1922); also in Riebensdorf (1909-1916 & 1919-1922); Saints Peter & Paul Church in Moscow (May to December 1922); Friedrichsstadt & Römershof in Courland (1923-1924); and Lithuania (1924-1925). He retired in 1935, and in 1939 moved to Posen.
Pastor Fastena's wife died 13 January 1920 in Voronezh. Pastor Fastena died 25 August 1944 in Posen.
