Johann Jung, a farmer, his wife Dorothea, and daughter Elisabeth (age ¾) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a ship named Die Zwei Gebrüder (The Two Brothers) under the command of Skipper Nicolaus Peter Pinck.
Christian Jahe [sic], his wife Dorothea Catharina, and daughter Elisabeth (age ½) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
It is not known in which colony they settled.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Jung came from the German region of Dessau.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Jung family among the Volga German colonies.
