Discussion & Documentation

Johann Möller, a farmer, and his wife Eva arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard an English barque named George under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.

Martin Möller and his wife Catharina are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Martin died in route.

It is not known in which colony the Widow Catharina Möller settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Möller came from the German region of Hanau.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Möller family among the Volga German colonies.
