Discussion & Documentation

Johann Kaspar Müller, his wife Eva Louisa, and children (Anna Eva, age 26; Kaspar, age 18; Regina, age 15; Margaretha, age 10; Johann Georg, age 7) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 August 1766 aboard the galliot named St. Johannes (Saint John) under the command of Skipper Carstens Stahl.

Their children (Anna Eva, age 20; Anna Regina, age 16; Kaspar, age 18) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Kaspar Müller came from the German region of Sachsen (Saxony).

There are no known surviving male lines of this Müller family among the Volga German colonies.
